Lesa Tennant, acting director and clinical assistant professor, Health Information Administration Program, has been selected to receive a 2009 Trustee’s Teaching Award (TTA). Prof. Tennant is the School of Informatics representative for this campus-wide excellence-in-teaching honor. She and other recipients will be recognized at the Chancellor’s Academic Honors Convocation Friday, April 17.

The TTA honors individuals who have a positive impact on learning through the direct teaching of students, especially undergraduates. Award recipients must have demonstrated a sustained level of teaching excellence. Tenured faculty, tenure track faculty, clinical faculty and full-time lecturers are eligible for the TTA. The amount of the award is $2,500. Congratulations Lesa!
