IU School of Informatics at IUPUI launches new interactive Web site
October 7, 2009 — The Indiana University School of Informatics at IUPUI has launched a new interactive Web site developed to better serve students, faculty, staff and others, and to foster a clearer definition of informatics and its implications for the future.

April 15, 2009 — Danita Forgey, lecturer, has been selected as the School of Informatics 2009 Spirit of Philanthropy honoree. She and other representatives will be recognized at the IUPUI Spirit of Philanthropy Luncheon and Awards Ceremony April 22, 11:30 A.M. at the Campus Center. The awards and luncheon are an annual celebration of the civic spirit for those who have helped IUPUI become a great urban campus, and honors the campus' most dedicated donors and volunteers.

April 14, 2009 — Lesa Tennant, acting director and clinical assistant professor, Health Information Administration Program, has been selected to receive a 2009 Trustee’s Teaching Award (TTA). Prof. Tennant is the School of Informatics representative for this campus-wide excellence-in-teaching honor. She and other recipients will be recognized at the Chancellor’s Academic Honors Convocation Friday, April 17.

March 2, 2009 — Beverly Walker, adjunct instructor in the IU School of Informatics, Health Information Administration program, was selected as an honoree in the annual "Favorite Professor" recognition event sponsored by IUPUI Athletics. Walker was chosen as a favorite professor by Eric Hollingsworth and Kelly Schlottman, who are members of the IUPUI Men and Women's Swimming and Diving teams.
